Mechanics

DUST is an SPL token with nine decimals. The smallest amount is one base unit, 0.000000001 DUST. Every distribution transfer sends exactly that.

A wallet address, a token account, and a person are three different things. A wallet can own several token accounts; a person can own many wallets. We report all three distinctly and never claim unique humans.

Verification

Holder counts are read from an indexed Solana data source and can be reproduced by querying all token accounts for the mint and counting those with a balance above zero. Ledger transfers link to their transaction signatures on Solscan.

Costs

Each new token account requires ~0.00203928 SOL in rent. Each transaction costs a 5,000-lamport base fee plus any priority fee. Admins see a full simulation before every campaign.

Mainnet deployment checklist

  1. 01

    Token mint

Pump.fun mint address entered in Admin โ†’ Settings. DUST never creates a token.

  2. 02

    Data source

Helius API key stored as a backend secret (HELIUS_API_KEY).

  3. 03

    Treasury

Public treasury address entered in Admin. Its private key never touches this app.

  4. 04

    Signing worker

A separate, isolated worker holding the treasury key (HSM / KMS or hardware wallet), enforcing per-campaign spend limits and reading the approved queue. Not yet connected.

  5. 05

    Devnet rehearsal

Run a full campaign on devnet against a small controlled wallet set, then reconcile ledger vs chain.

  6. 06

    Reconciliation

Every confirmed ledger row re-verified against its on-chain signature before counts publish.

  7. 07

    Monitoring

Alerts on RPC errors, blockhash expiry, failure-rate spikes, and treasury balance thresholds.

  8. 08

    Admin access

Only operator accounts hold the admin role. The first signed-in account can claim it once.

  9. 09

    Mainnet switch

Network set to mainnet-beta only after every item above is complete.
